You've just found it - this is the UNI-T UT527, possibly our most popular PAT tester and an absolute essential for those new to the industy, particularly suited for use in charity shops, smaller offices, for use by landlords and anyone else who PAT tests a small amount of appliances.

The UNI-T UT527 is designed completely with simplicity in mind. Testing with this PAT tester is literally as simple as connecting up the supplied leads to the appliance you're testing, then pressing a button on the front. The UT527 will then perform all needed tests and display a PASS/FAIL result on the large-size LCD screen (please note that this tester does not show full test results and will only show PASS/FAIL).

You can use the UT527 to test all appliances. This unit is perfectly suitable for use on both class I and II appliances commonly found in offices etc, can be used safely with IT equipment and can even be used for testing 110V appliances as found on construction sites etc (requires optional 110V adapters). It's also suitable for use with power leads and can - via the use of IEC adapters etc - be used to test cloverleaf and other power leads commonly found on laptop power supplies and similar equipment.

The UT527 performs all basic PAT tests required by the IET Code of Practice and is 5th Edition Compliant, including insulation resistance at 250V; giving more control over testing sensitive equipment or surge protected equipment, earth continuity, socket tests and more.
