The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester can be used to PAT-test an eclectic variety of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice. It includes the following testing capabilities which may be arranged into up to 100 electrical and visual inspection sequences:
It also features a risk-based retest period calculator for determining a retest period according to the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice and a colour camera for capturing evidence of visual inspections. Images and results gathered using the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester can be saved to its extensive memory (capacity for 50 000 records and 2000 images).
In addition to testing high-volumes of portable appliances, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester can be used to perform health and safety checks. It includes onboard reports for fire detection and emergency lighting and a universal risk assessment tool designed for recording hazards, calculating risk scores and planning and documenting corrective action.
Information gathered by the Apollo 600+ may be sent to an Android device via Bluetooth or to a PC via a USB cable. The user may also send information directly to a USB drive, this method of data transfer is unique to the Apollo 600+.
Hardware
It includes an interchangeable, rechargeable battery which works to reduce the tester’s downtime, especially as the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester may also be powered using a mains supply.
Furthermore, the inclusion of a wiring harness, test leads with strong PVC insulation and resilient test probes makes the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester better suited to demanding applications; this adds to the instrument’s versatility and expands its scope-for-use.
