Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester Description

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is the most sophisticated PAT Tester in Seaward’s Apollo+ range. It has been optimised for health and safety applications and to this end includes a number of features not present on its sister products, the Apollo 500+ and 400+. These include:

• A colour camera for capturing evidence of visual inspections
• A universal risk assessment tool for recording hazards, calculating risks and planning and documenting corrective actions
• Onboard reports for fire detection and emergency lighting

Similarly, like its sister products the 400+ and 500+, the Apollo 600+ is also suitable for ensuring compliance with the IET 5^th Edition Code of Practice and therefore includes an eclectic variety of tests:

• Low current earth continuity test (with Zap circuit) guaranteeing accurate measurements
• Insulation resistance
• IEC lead test
• Protective conductor current
• Touch current
• Load power/current
• Alternative leakage current
• RCD test
• Power socket test
• Point to point fixed appliance testing for earth continuity and insulation resistance

The user is able to create up to 100 electrical test and visual inspection sequences. Furthermore, like its sister products, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester includes a risk-based retest period calculator for ascertaining the retest period of each appliance in accordance with the IET 5^th Code of Practice.

Results and images can be saved to the Apollo 600+’s extensive memory (capacity for 50 000 results and 2000 images) and may be downloaded to a PC via a USB cable or can be sent to an Android device via Bluetooth. Alternatively, the user may download this information directly onto a USB drive.

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is suited to high volumes of portable appliance testing and as such includes a number of updates which help to ensure this capability.

Hardware Features

Includes a removable, interchangeable, rechargeable battery pack which works to minimise downtime, especially as the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester may also be powered using a mains supply.

Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is supplied with robust probes and test leads which feature a stronger PVC insulation, ensuring that this tester is suitable for more demanding applications.

In order for the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester to read and print 2D QR codes it must be used with the Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite 2 Printer and/or the Seaward 2D Barcode Scanner, both of which are included in this kit:
