The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester Pro Bundle Kit includes the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester and Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Pro Bundle. Please see the descriptions below for further information.
The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester includes an eclectic selection of tests and a comprehensive memory (capable of storing up to 10 000 records) making it particularly well suited to testing high-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with IET’s 5th Edition Code of Practice.
This instrument is capable of performing point-to-point earth continuity and insulation resistance tests, as well as the following checks:
These electrical tests can be organised into up to one-hundred user-customised electrical and visual test sequences. The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester also includes an integrated electrical risk assessment tool with a retest calculator allowing the user to determine a suggested retest period for each inspected appliance.
Firmware
The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester includes a number of options, tests and functions designed to make testing easier and quicker than ever, these add to the versatility and adaptability of the Seaward Apollo 500+ and include:
Hardware
it is supplied with a wiring harness, test leads with strong PVC insulation, and resilient test probes, making it better suited to demanding applications.
Furthermore, the Apollo 500+ includes an interchangeable, rechargeable battery pack which works to reduce downtime, particularly as the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester can also be powered using a mains supply.
However, the design of the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester continues to include practical features found on its predecessor the Apollo 500; these include a QWERTY keyboard and a high-definition, colour display.
Software Compatibility
It is compatible with the printer and scanner included in the Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Pro Bundle (see below) allowing the user to read and print 1D barcode labels.
In addition to this, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester’s Bluetooth communication capabilities allow the user to send information to his/her compatible smartphone or tablet.
When data is uploaded to a PC it may be organised into reports using Seaward’s PATGuard 3.4 Software with Time Manager (NOT included). This software can also be used to create invoices and the Time Manager feature has been designed to help the user with organising teams of workers.
The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is a sophisticated, comprehensive and practical tester that can be easily tailored to suit the user’s requirements. It is ideal for performing comprehensive PAT checks on a wide variety of portable appliances.
The Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Pro Bundle Kit includes instruments optimised to help realise the printing and scanning capabilities of the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester. The instruments in this bundle include:
