Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester Description

The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is designed for checking high-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5^th Edition Code of Practice. To this end it is capable of performing point-to-point fixed appliance testing for earth continuity and insulation resistance, as well as the following tests:

• Low current earth continuity test with Zap circuit, guaranteeing accurate measurements
• Insulation resistance test
• IEC lead test
• Protective conductor current test
• Touch current test
• Load power/ current test
• Alternative leakage current test
• RCD test
• Power socket test
• Class 2 FE (5th edition update) 

These tests can be arranged into up to 100 customised visual and electrical test sequences. The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester also includes an extensive 10000-record memory for storing tests results and an integrated electrical risk assessment tool with a retest calculator for determining a suggested retest period for each appliance.

Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester can be used with the items included in the Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite Bundle Kit and/or with the Seaward FREE QR Data Viewer App to read, create and view 2D QR codes. Software Compatibility

The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is compatible with the below printer and scanner allowing it to scan and print 2D QR codes, as previously mentioned. Its Bluetooth compatibility also allows the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester to send information to compatible smartphones and tablets.

The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is also compatible with Seaward’s PAT Guard 3.4 Software with Time Manager (NOT included). Using this software the operator can review test results as well as organise the data into reports. This software may also be used to manage teams of workers.

Hardware Features

Like its predecessor the Apollo 500, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester includes a QWERTY keyboard and a colour, high-definition display which may be used to view test results.

However, this model also includes a rechargeable, interchangeable battery pack, test leads with stronger PVC insulation and robust probes.
