The Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester can be used to test mid-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice. To this end it includes an eclectic variety of electrical and safety tests, such as:
These tests may be arranged into up to twenty-five user-customised electrical and visual inspection sequences. The results of which can be saved to its extensive onboard memory (capacity for 2000 test results). Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester can be used with an OPTIONAL accessory to perform point-to-point fixed appliances tests for earth continuity and insulation resistance.
Accessing and imputing data is made simple and quick as a result of the Apollo 400+’s QWERTY keyboard and colour, high-definition display, features it shares with its predecessor, the Apollo 400. Hardware Update
The design of the Apollo 400+ is largely based on that on its predecessor, resulting in the aforementioned inclusion of a QWERTY keyboard and colour, high-definition display.
However, the design of this instrument has been updated to improve its practicality and extend its scope-for-use. To this end, it includes an interchangeable, rechargeable battery optimised to limit the instrument’s downtime.
Moreover, the inclusion of a wiring harness, test leads with strong PVC insulation and resilient test probes makes this instrument better suited to demanding applications, thereby improving its versatility.
