- P-RCD (2-pole, 3-pole, K/Di (varistor), S (3-pole)) test
- PRCD PE probe test
- Open conductor test
- PE conductor test
- RCD (type A, AC, B, B+, F) test
When used with the OPTIONAL Metrel A1422 Active 3-phase Adapter Plus the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester can perform welding circuit leakage, primary leakage, and no-load voltage tests in accordance with IEC/ EN 60974-4. This expands the Metrel MI3360’s scope-for-use to include testing welding equipment. This instrument can also be used with Metrel’s A1283 Current Clamp Adapter (NOT included) to measure leakage current.
The Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester includes a testing module for checking all types of fuses, as well as additional test terminals for testing hard-wired instruments.
As the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester is optimised for testing Class I, Class II and Class III appliances it includes a number of pre-programmed test sequences optimised for checking particular instruments. These tests can be accessed and run via the AUTOSEQUENCES® function. Moreover, the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester’s integrated filters ensure that the test sequences are relevant to the area of application and improve the ease with which the user can select the appropriate test.
It is also possible to create personalised test sequences which can be saved, along with test results, to the 8GB microSD memory card. Recalling and re-executing saved tests or test sequences for particular instruments is simple and efficient as a result of the microSD card’s intelligently structured memory.
Ease-of-use is also improved by the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester’s advanced user-interface; high-resolution, touch-screen, 4.3-inch, TFT display; and keyboard. The physical features ensure that the interface is simple to navigate and allows the user to enter information into the tester via his/her preferred method.
The Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester supports multiple user accounts. As such, this portable appliance tester can be configured to suit each electrician. Each individual’s test setups (and test results) are then saved to his/her account ensuring that they remain unaltered while the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester is used by another electrician.
Professional reports can be created using saved test data and the included Metrel ES Manager BASIC Software. This software can also be used to create and upload test structures and AUTOSEQUENCES® to the Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester.
Alternatively, the PAT tester’s Bluetooth capabilities can be utilised in order to facilitate a connection to the Metrel aMESM Android SW App. This app allows the user to scan QR codes with his/her phone. The information contained within these barcodes is then used to populate the Metrel MI3360’s test fields, enabling quick and simple re-testing. (It is also possible to read QR codes using Metrel’s compatible Bluetooth QR Scanners (NOT included).) After test completion, updated test information can be written into a QR code and printed using Metrel’s Bluetooth QR Label Printers (NOT included).
The Metrel MI3360 OmegaPAT XA PAT Tester is a sophisticated, adaptable and comprehensive downloadable portable appliance tester. It is ideal for checking Class I, Class II and Class III appliances.
