The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester – PAT Professional Kit (Bundle 2) consists of the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester (supplied with the standard manufacturer’s accessories) and an array of additional PAT testing accessories, such as labels, logbooks and the SimplyPats Manual PAT Testing Software. For a comprehensive overview of the items included in this bundle, please see the ‘What’s Included?’ section.
For further information regarding the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester, please see the following description.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester can be used to perform portable appliance tests on extension leads, computers and TVs. This is because it has been optimised for checking extension leads, and Class I and Class II appliances with and without electronic on/off switches.
This battery-operated, non-downloading portable appliance tester is the intermediate model in Kewtech’s EZYPAT/ SMARTPAT range. Like its sister products, it includes pre-programmed test sequences for extension leads, Class I and Class II appliances. These test sequences can be run at the push of a clearly labelled function button.
In addition to these test sequences, the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester can also be used to perform the following checks:
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is capable of performing up to 1400 tests over the course of the replaceable battery’s lifetime. It is supplied with an EZYEARTH Earth Continuity Test Lead with Probe and Crocodile Clip, EZYLEAD Extension Lead Adapter, and EZYMAIN Mains Lead. These accessories can be used to adapt the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester to perform a variety of tests in an array of environments.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester also features a number of functions optimised to improve the accuracy and safety of the instrument. The Test Lead Null setting nullifies test lead resistance ensuring that insulation readings are accurate; whilst the Appliance Pre-check allows the user to verify whether the instrument-under-investigation is powered on or off prior to testing.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is equipped with a large, backlit display. Via this display, the user can view the measurements and a written PASS or FAIL indication for each test. Furthermore, the backlight will change colour to indicate whether each test has been passed or failed. If the light turns green this indicates a PASS, if it turns red this indicates a FAIL.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is an easy-to-use portable appliance tester optimised for testing Class I and Class II appliances, and extension leads.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is also available in another bundle, the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester - PAT Essentials Kit (Bundle 1). Please see the table below for an overview of the items included in both this bundle and Bundle 1.

Need to check if your sockets are working right? Just plug this into a standard UK plug socket and if there's a problem, the socket tester will let you know about it! |
√ | √ |
Gain a certificate of competency to carry out PAT testing in just two hours with our online PAT course and exam. Teams of staff may be trained by purchasing the course multiple times; each staff member will be assigned a unique activation code and login. |

√ |
Keep a record of all of your tests with our logbook. The book includes carbon-copied records, allowing you to keep one for yourself and give the other to customers or keep for a reference. |
√ | √ |
When PAT testing, it's common practice to check microwaves are also not emitting high levels of radiation. With our microwave leakage detector, you'll be able to do this testing with ease. |
√ | √ |
You'll need this adapter to connect your PAT tester to laptop/PC power leads and other similar equipment which has a cloverleaf-shaped connector. |
√ | √ |
This adaptor is used to connect to laptop power supplies, portable projectors and other similar equipment. |
√ | √ |
You'll find several appliances such as game consoles, laptop power supplies, audio/visual equipment and more use this type of connector - with this adapter, you can connect them up to your PAT tester. |
√ | √ |
A handy set of insulated screwdrivers (suitable for live working to 1000V) suitable for a wide variety of applications. |
√ | √ |
You'll need these every time an appliance passes a test - just tear one off, fill in the fields (appliance ID, your name, test date and next test due date) and stick on the appliance when done. |
√ | √ |
These circular-shaped PAT labels are great for plug tops and any other appliance. The labels also include space for ticking the month/year the next test is due. |
√ | √ |
These passed labels wrap around a wire/cable from an appliance and are recommended for use with power supplies or on appliances where you can't stick a label. They also include space for writing your appliance ID, name, test date and next test date. |
√ | √ |
You won't need these as often as your passed labels, but you'll need to apply one of these whenever an appliance fails a test. If it does fail, the item should be taken out of service for repair or replacement |
√ | √ |
Keep a database of your PAT testing information on your PC and print reports with SimplyPats Manual software. Please note that this software is manual entry; you cannot download directly from the PAT tester and you will need to type in records by hand. |
