Optimised for testing Class I and Class II appliances with or without electronic on/off switches, and extension leads, the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is the intermediate model in Kewtech’s EZYPAT/SMARTPAT range.

Like its sister product, the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester, the EZYPAT-PLUS includes pre-programmed test sequences for Class I and Class II appliances, and extension leads. These test sequences can be run via pressing the clearly labelled function buttons located on the front of the tester.
In addition to pre-programmed test sequences, the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester also includes, like its sister product, a Test Lead Null setting and Appliance Pre-check. These functions add to the accuracy and safety of the EZYPAT-PLUS respectively. When engaged, the Test Lead Null setting nullifies the resistance in the test leads in order to ensure resistance readings are accurate. The Appliance Pre-check protects both the instrument and the user from harm as it is designed to ascertain whether the appliance-under-investigation is powered on or off prior to testing.
Also expanding the testing capabilities of the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester are the supplied Kewtech accessories which may be used with the tester to facilitate a variety of tests in an array of environments. The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is supplied with an EZYEARTH Earth Continuity Test Lead with Probe and Crocodile Clip, EZYLEAD Extension Lead Adapter, and EZYMAIN Mains Lead.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is able to perform up to 1400 tests over the course of the replaceable battery’s life cycle. Measurements and PASS/ FAIL results are indicated on the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester’s large, backlit display. Via this display, the user may view a numerical value as well as a written PASS or FAIL indication. The backlight will also change colour to indicate whether a test has been passed or failed. If the light turns green this indicates a PASS, if it turns red this indicates a FAIL.
The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is a simple-to-use, yet comprehensive, non-downloading, battery-operated PAT tester. It is ideal for checking extension leads as well as appliances, such as computers and TVs, which include electronic on/off switches.
