Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester – Battery Operated

The Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester can be used to manually conduct dead testing on extension leads, Class I and Class II appliances that do not require a power supply to start up, i.e. items WITHOUT electronic on/off switches.

PLEASE NOTE that the EZYPAT PLUS, available here, is suited to testing items (such as computers and TVs) with electronic on/off switches and which do require a power supply to start up. Nevertheless, the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester is IT safe as it features a low current, 200mA earth continuity test and 250V DC insulation test.

Moreover, the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester’s accompanying EZYLEAD Extension Lead Adapter and EZYEARTH Earth Continuity Test Lead with Probe and Crocodile Clip, as well as its Test Lead Null function all allow the user to quickly adapt this product to perform a variety of tests accurately.

Adding to this product’s adaptability is its choice of voltages for insulation tests (250V DC or 500V DC) and selectable substitute leakage test limits.

There are a number of tests available on the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester, including:

• Appliance status pre-check (determines whether the appliance under investigation is on or off)
• Quick check continuity (1 second)
• 5-second continuity check
• Insulation tests (using either 250V DC or 500V DC)

The results of these tests are clearly displayed on the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester’s large, backlit display. This display will turn red if an appliance has failed a test and green when an appliance has passed. This display feature adds to the Kewtech EZYPAT’s efficiency and ease-of-use; other features which make using the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester quick and convenient are its automatic test sequences for Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads, and its lightweight, practical design. All these features allow the user to perform numerous tests quickly in a variety of environments.
