See how easy PAT testing can be with First Stop Safety's BattPAT, a simple-to-use, entry-level PAT tester made for those new to the industry.
The BattPAT is designed to simply check the safety of electrical appliances. It does exactly what you'll need, performing all basic PAT tests with minimal configuration needed (it's as simple as connecting to an appliance, and then pressing the appropriate button).
Ideal for use in offices, schools, hotels, nursing homes, and much more, the BattPAT's portable, battery-powered (comes with rechargeable batteries) design makes it great for moving from test to test. It can be used with all standard appliances, including class I and class II, power leads, and is also suitable for use when testing sensitive IT equipment.
First Stop Safety's BattPAT is classed as a PASS/FAIL PAT checker. This means that the tester doesn't show full testing results; instead, it'll simply light up a PASS or FAIL LED light indicator on the front of the tester. For basic users, this is more than suitable for checking that an appliance is working as it should.
Even for beginners, using the BattPAT is simple. All you need to do is connect and press one of the following buttons (each tied to a specific type of appliance):
